Eligibility
- One of the parents of the student should be Beedi, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Cine worker with at least 6 months service.
- Students should pass the previous exam on the first attempt.
- Correspondence course students are not eligible for the scholarship.
- The educational institutions of the student must be government-recognized or government institutes.
- If a student is availing of any other scholarship from any source then they are not eligible for a scholarship under this scheme.

NSP scholarship 2024-25: Apply Process
- Visit www.scholarships.gov.in, the NSP website.
- Search for and select the “New Registration” tab from the top menu.
- On the screen, a new NSP registration form for 2024 will display.
- Next, select the candidate’s eligible scholarship from among the many programmes.
- Candidates are required to provide their name, birth date, cellphone number, email address, state of residence, category, and bank information.
- After that, “submit” a 200KB PDF or JPEG version of your bank passbook and complete the captcha on the right side of the page.
- To obtain a special application number, click on register to “submit” the information at the National Scholarship Portal
POINT:- The applicant will then get their NSP student login information, including their application number and password, on their registered mobile number.
Renewal Process Under NSP scholarship 2024-25
- Visit www.scholarships.gov.in, the NSP website.
- The home page will appear on your screen.
- You must first select the “Login“ option.

- On your screen, a new page will appear.
- Enter the application ID and password.
- Fill in the captcha code.
- Select “Login” from the menu.

The National Scholarship Portal is a trusted and secure portal. How students will benefit from this portal is given below:-
- First of all the student has to check his own eligibility for the NSP scholarship.
- Eligible students will register their application on the National Scholarship Portal and apply for the scholarship for which they are eligible.
- The application will be completely online.
- The scholarship authority will verify and sort the online application and with all this processing you can track the status of your own application through the portal.
- If the application is successfully verified, the specific amount of money levied on the basis of the student’s merit will be deposited in the student’s account through direct benefit transfer. First of all the family has to check their eligibility for the National Scholarship portal, then they have to register their application on the National Scholarship portal and the student will apply for the scholarship based on their eligibility. The application is entirely online i.e. processed through a digital process. The scholarship authority will then verify and select the online application and the student will be able to track the status of the application through the complete process portal. A certain amount of money levied on the basis of the merit of the registered students will be deposited in the account through direct transfer.

NSP Scholarship: Central Scheme:
Various departments run by the Government of India help students pursue their dream academic careers in higher education without any financial constraints. Scholarship awarding categories include-

UGC (University Grand Commission):
The University Grants Commission is a unique statutory body of the Government of India or MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development).
This organization was set up to set and maintain standards and coordination of higher education in India. This organization recognizes universities across India and provides oil to the universities to award scholarships to the students, apart from this the UGC provides some additional scholarships for students pursuing college-level education. “Ishan-Uday” is a special scholarship scheme for the North East region, the “Indira Gandhi” Scholarship for a girl child, and the “PG Scholarship” for University first and second placers. Also, this special organization organizes the “PG Scholarship Scheme” for SC, and ST students to pursue professional courses.

The National Scholarship Portal offers special scholarships for technical education through the AICTE scheme. This department offers scholarships to students related to technical education. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is a department established in 1945 for coordinated development and proper planning of both technical and management education in India.
