Ishan Uday scholarship: Amount

This scholarship amount of 10000 will be awarded to selected candidates. The scholarship amount is mainly given in two parts one for general courses and one for professional courses. Those studying Bachelor of Science and Arts and Commerce and some other general courses will get Rs 5,400 per month from Ishan Uday Scholarship. And the students who are studying in Engineering, Medical, and Paramedical Technical Board will get help from this scholarship of Rs.7,400 per month. The scholarship amount will be sent directly to the student’s bank account through the Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) mode.

Ishan Uday scholarship: Eligibility Criteria 

There are some eligibility criteria that students must know once to apply for this scholarship.

• The student must be a permanent resident of the North East region and for which a permanent resident certificate is required.  
• Students must study in a college under UGC.  
• The student’s family income should not be more than 4 lakh 45 thousand.  
• Applicants must have passed 12th standard from a recognized school or college in the North East region.

Non Eligibility

• Students studying from Open University are not eligible for this scholarship
• This scholarship is not for those pursuing diploma courses
• Students who qualify under the management quota can no longer apply
