Devaraj Arasu Scholarship 2024

Students who belong to the economically backward class are eligible to get the Devaraj Arasu Scholarship. The scholarship is administered by the Government of Karnataka for students who cannot afford to pay college or tuition fees. Students will benefit from the scholarship ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000. The scholarship money is sent directly to the student’s bank account.

Devaraj Arasu Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria

Students must follow the eligibility criteria given below to apply for the scholarship–

Only permanent residents of Karnataka state can apply for the scholarship.
Backward Class category people of the state can apply for this scholarship from the Karnataka Government.
Students must pass SSLC from a government-recognized Board/ Institute/University with a minimum of 90% marks.
Students must pursue their education at a government-recognized institute or university. (both private and government accepted).
To apply, the student’s family income needs to be below 2.5 lakh rupees.

Caste certificate of the student

Devaraj Arasu Scholarship: Selection Process

Students must follow the following selection criteria to apply for the scholarship:-

Applicants will be selected according to merit for this scholarship.
After accepting the application form of the students the authority of the Karnataka State Government, the final list of selected candidates is released.
Applicants whose names and application numbers will be displayed on the selection list will get the reward of the Devaraj Scholarship as per their eligibility and schedule notified by the Government of Karnataka.
