About Oasis Scholarship 2024

This scholarship is offered to SC/ST/OBC students of West Bengal. Oasis Scholarship is provided by West Bengal Backward Classes Welfare Department. This scholarship is offered at Pre-Matric and Post-Matric levels. The main objective of the Oasis Scholarship 2024 is to provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections of the SC, ST, and OBC categories. This scholarship will complete the educational careers of those who cannot afford their tuition fees. Oasis Scholarships will bring a rapid change in the field of education to improve the condition of economically backward and financially constrained students. With the help of this scholarship, students will be able to complete their studies without any financial burden on their shoulders.

Object Of Oasis Scholarship

The main objective of the Oasis Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections of SC, ST, and OBC categories. As we all know that there are minor students who are not able to continue their studies due to some financial crisis and their economic status and as a result, their dream of academic goal remains unfulfilled. Oasis Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

1- Pre-matric scholarship for SC students

• Should be 9th and 10th-class students and belong to the SC category.
• The income of the family/parents should not exceed Rs.2 lakh per annum.

2- Pre-matric scholarship for ST students

• Students must belong to the ST category.
• IX and 10th-class students are eligible to apply.
• Annual family/parent income should not exceed 2 lakhs.

3- Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students

• Should be studying at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level and belong to SC/ST category.
• Annual family/parent income should not exceed 2 lakhs.

4- Post-matric scholarship for OBC students

• You should study at the post-secondary level and belong to the OBC category.
• Annual family/parent income should not exceed 2 lakhs.
