1. Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship:

The First Scholarships in West Bengal We Will Talk About Is The Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship There Are Some People Who Also Know This Scholarship As The Bikash Bhavan Scholarship. The Scholarship Is Mainly Awarded To The Most Meritorious Students Of The State Government.

2. Oasis Scholarship (Pre-Matric/Post-Matric)

The second scholarship we will talk about is the Oasis Scholarship, also known as the Post Matric and Pre Matric Scholarship, this scholarship is usually awarded by the state government to meritorious students and those students who belong to the SC/ST/OBC category. You need to get 50% marks to qualify for this scholarship.
 

Eligibility Criteria

  • This scholarship is for those who have passed 8th/MP/HS/UG/PG.
  • It would be best if you were from SC/ST/OBC Category only then you can apply for this scholarship
  • You need it permanent resident of West Bengal.
  • Min 50% Marks in the Last Examination.

3. Nabanna Scholarship

4. Akyashree Scholarship

The scholarship that I will talk about now is the Cross Scholarship. (West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation / WBMDFC) This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students from the minority communities of West Bengal.  This scholarship program is administered by the Government of West Bengal and its subsidiary boards, which provide financial assistance to exemplary meritorious and poor students of the state to help them pursue their higher education.
 

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must belong to a minority community of West Bengal like – Muslim, Christian, Sikh, or Jain.
  • You need it permanent resident of West Bengal
  • Min 50% Mark in the Last Examination

5. Freeship scholarship

Free ship scholarship is for undergraduate level students in Engineering & Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture programs run by state self-financing private engineering and technology institutes. The waiver is limited to tuition fees for all institutions concerned. All fees other than tuition fees are to be borne by the beneficiary.
 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Those pursuing B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharm/B. Arch can apply for this scholarship
  • Merit Rank in State Level / National Level Entrance Examination
  • Candidates selected under the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) 
  • The annual family income of the candidate must not be more than Rs.2.50 lakhs rupees

Amount- Tuition fees, examination fees, and other fees which are compulsorily or compulsorily payable by the student to the institution are paid to the concerned student.

6. Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship:

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship was created by the Government of West Bengal to provide scholarship opportunities to girls who have recently passed 12th standard and are currently pursuing graduation in their nearest colleges and universities. 3 thousand rupees per month will be paid to graduate students who are currently pursuing graduate programs.
 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any girl student having Indian Nationality can apply for this scholarship.
  • Candidates need it a permanent resident of West Bengal 
  • Students must have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates also take admission in class XI in the science stream (with at least 
  • 3 subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, and 
  • Computer Science) in the same year of application.
