The Government of Punjab has launched the Ashirwad Scholarship 2024 to provide higher education to students of the state of SC/ST/OBC. So that students can pursue higher education without worrying about their financial status. Under the scheme, financial assistance will be provided to students who wish to pursue their graduate or post-graduate higher studies. Ashirwad Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria

Below we have discussed the eligibility criteria that students need to fulfill to apply for the Punjab Ashirwad Scholarship.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
• The candidate must belong to the SC ST OBC category.
• The student must have passed 10th class from any government-recognized university, private or Board of Secondary Education.
• The age of the applicant should not be less than 17 years.
• The annual family income of SC and ST categories should not exceed more than Rs. 2.50 lakhs from all sources.
• The annual family income of the OBC category should not exceed more than Rs. 1 lakhs from all sources.
• The candidate who wants to apply under the scheme should not get any other scholarship.
• Students who are pursuing distance learning correspondence courses are not eligible to apply.
• Applicants who are pursuing a postgraduate degree in medicine are eligible to apply.
