Graduates with at least 60% marks in their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from any Indian-recognized board.

JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship: Selection Process

After the application process ends, some candidates will be notified that they will no longer be considered. And the remaining candidates will be informed one week in advance that they have been selected for the online test

Phase 1– Online Test

This test is based on the lines of the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) and is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 9th April 2024. This test will be held only once. Those who fail to appear in this examination will be considered withdrawn
This is not a subject-specific test and contains some numerical questions but does not presume anything more than knowledge of arithmetic and does not involve difficult calculations.
Time and instructions will be informed later. As this is an online exam, an uninterrupted internet connection is mandatory. Candidates must ensure that the device on which they take the test is capable of capturing video (web camera).

Phase 2 – Shortlisting for technical interview

Of those who undertake the online test, some will be shortlisted for the technical interview and the remaining will be informed that their applications will not be considered any further.
Candidates who are shortlisted for the interview will be required to complete the application form by supplying information on the applied university/universities, proposed plans, source of funds, parents’ details, and guarantor’s details.

Phase 3 – Interview

The interview is the final leg of the selection process. Candidates must update and confirm all information related to their studies. Scanned copies of the following documents should be uploaded before the interview

The final selection of scholars for the award of the loan scholarship is based on the following criteria:

Score on the online test
Score based on academic results, GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL/PTE scores, statement of purpose, and work experience.
