Gujarat Government and their Education Department have launched the CMMS Scholarship for SC, ST, OBC‌ , and EBC students from economically backward communities of the state. 50% tuition fee reduction for students through this scheme. Those who pass Class X and Class XII and want to be admitted to the next course will get help from the Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme. The objective of the CMSS Scholarship

The main objective of CMSS Scholarship 2024 is to provide financial assistance for the education of backward students from all aspects of the state. Under this scholarship, students must secure a minimum of 60% marks in the 10th and 12th board exams. As a result of this scheme, fifty percent of the tuition fee for the current academic year is waived.

CMSS Scholarship: Amount/Rewards

The following Amounts/rewards will be provided in the CMSS scholarship scheme:-

• All those students who will get admission to the diploma course after classes 10th and 12th will get the assistance of 50% of the fixed annual tuition fees or Rs 50,000/- whichever is less
• Undergraduate students after a diploma will be provided 50% of the tuition fees for engineering in professional courses or Rs 1,00,000/- whichever is lower

CMSS Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria 

The Eligibility criteria to be followed to apply for the CMMS Scholarship are given below:- 

• Applicants must be permanent residents of Gujarat state.  
• Students must belong to SC, ST, and OBC categories.  
• The annual family income of the student should not exceed 4 lakh 50 thousand rupees.  
• Students Should study in UG or PG courses from any board in Gujarat state.  
• Students must pass class ten and twelve board exams with a minimum of 60% marks.

• The Gujarat Government launched CMS Scholarship on 13th February 2022. 
• Students get a 50% tuition fee waiver from the scholarship.  
• These students are the only applicants whose family income is below Rs 4.5 Lakh.

• You must first, go to the Education Department of Gujarat’s CMSS website
• On your screen, the website’s home page will appear.

• You must select the “New Application” option.
• Your screen will go to a new page.
• The registration form will appear on your screen.
• You must carefully read all of the instructions.
• Complete the application.
• All the documents should be uploaded.
• Verify your information, then apply.
• Take a printout of the duly filled application form and submit it to your concerned organization.

Renewal Process

• You must first, go to the Education Department of Gujarat’s CMSS website
• On your screen, the website’s home page will appear.
• You must select the Renew Application option.
• Your screen will go to a new page.
• Carefully read the renewal guidelines.
• Fill out the application by clicking the Apply Online button.
• Your application can now be successfully renewed.

Check Student Status

• First, open the official website of the CMSS scholarship
• On your screen, the website home page will appear.
• Select the Student Status option from the home screen.
• A new page will open on the screen.

• Applications, Standards, Passing Years, and Streams should be chosen.
• Enter the password and seat number.
• Click the Get Student Details button now.

Renewal Application for Delayed Students

• You must first, go to the Education Department of Gujarat’s CMSS website
• On your screen, the website home page will appear.
• Now click on the option Renewal Application for Delayed Students who have never applied for CMSS
• A new page with an application form will open on the screen.
• Select the Admission year, Board University, Stream, and other details.
• Now click on the Login option.
• Now the application form for the scholarship will open.
• Enter the details and click on the Submit option.
