ADW Scholarship 2024 Amount

For Schools	Female students belonging to SC/ST category and students studying in classes III to V will get INR 500 per annum. Adi Dravida Tribal Welfare will grant Rs 1000 to ST/SC girls. The girl students of class VII and VIII will get a grant of Rs.1500 per annum. Children of those engaged in unsanitary occupations and studying in class 10 will get INR 1,850 through the ADW scholarship. The government will bear the educational expenses, special fees, application fees, registration, and examination fees. Welfare will select 1,000 boys and 1,000 girls who have topped the XII board examination and give them a grant of INR 3,000 annually for five years. Day Scholars studying in Class IX to X will receive Rs.2250 to meet their educational expenses. Hostellers studying in Class IX to X will receive Rs.4500 to meet their educational expenses.
For Schools Higher Secondary Level	Students studying in classes I to XII in government schools will get free textbooks. Welfare provides free guides and question banks for students appearing for class 10 and 12 board exams. Students studying in ADW schools and students living in ADW hostels will get 4 sets of uniforms free of charge. Special classes will be given to students who appear in the 10th and 12th examinations. The children of the Christian community who have studied in 11th and 12th classes will be given bicycles.
For College Students	The government offers a grant of INR 7,500 to students pursuing undergraduate and polytechnic courses. The students pursuing a postgraduate degree and professional courses will receive INR 8,000 per annum. The state government also offers an ADW scholarship amount to students in self-financing colleges. Law graduates will get INR 50,000 to start their practice.

ADW Scholarship Tamil Nadu: Eligibility

Eligibility criteria must be known before applying. Below are the following eligibility you must take a look:-

Candidates must belong to SC /ST /Minority Muslim and Christian community
Candidates must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu State for at least five years
Students who are studying from class one to Ph.D. level can apply for TN ADW Scholarship
For candidates applying for ADW Hostel, the distance between the school/college and their residence should be more than five kilometers. However, this condition does not apply to girls.
In the case of female candidates, the distance of residence from the school/college should be 5 km.
The student’s family income should be below two lakh rupees.
Students who want to study in specialized schools must first clear the eligibility test.
Students should have studied in Adi Dravida Kalyan, GTR, Government or Government aided schools.
Students intending to study Class 11th and 12th in reputed schools through ADW scholarship should ensure that their family income does not exceed INR 1,00,000 per annum.
